LAF is known for its innovative events. Specifically its approach in reaching people with the gospel. LAF events are basically divided into two. Events that concentrate on rural people. And events that aim at city people.
The outreach programs concentrate on rural areas where people are uneducated or less educated. In other less civilized. The appraoch here is traditional. Our pastors and believers, after reaching a village, visit each and every door, distributing tracts and booklets. As per the opportunity they interact with the people and share the gospel.
Moreover they invite the people to attend the meeting to be held on the same evening at the noted center of the village, where people are challenged with the word of God.
The appraoch in reaching the urban people is entirely different. It is modern and musical. A mega musical evening is held in select cities of the state. Normally this event demands a huge ground or stadium where, about 50000 crowd is attracted. Most of the program is packed with christian music and choreography performed by the best talented musicians and renowned singers in the nation. The most sophisticated sounds, eye feasting lightings and sizzling centre stage all set to make the crowd cemented for nearly three hours. The powerful gospel message is inserted in the middle of the program when the audience are at their hearing best. What's important here is, these programs are held exclusively for non christians. Imagine drawing thousands of non christians at one place and presenting them gospel in simple terms! Its really a gigantic task. |
